Gu Yuan is the Clan Head of the Gu Clan, he was one of the strongest people in the world at Advanced 9 star Dou Sheng class until the emergence of Dou Di Xiao Yan and Dou Di Hun Tiandi. Gu Yuan is always working hard for the benefit of his clan, and regretted not taking action against Hun Tiandi earlier.
Appearance[]
This person appeared to be around forty years old or so. He looked just like an ordinary middle-aged man. His clothes were ordinary and made of linen. The smile that was appeared on his face caused one to feel somewhat peaceful.[3]

He has a laid back personality for someone who was at the peak of the Dou Sheng class. This throws people off guard around him.
Plot[]
He came to talk to Xiao Yan when the latter was visiting the Gu Realm. He told Xiao Yan as long as Gu Xun Er was willing he will support her and Xiao Yan's relationship, only asking for Xiao Yan not to take her virginity until she reaches the Dou Sheng level to protect her bloodline. He then inquired if Xiao Yan met Xiao Xuan in the Heavenly Tomb and he further explained that Xiao Xuan agreed to become half living to pass on the bloodline of the Xiao Clan to a descendant. He told Xiao Yan that he doesn't know if there is a way to save him and let him leave. The only option he could think of was to become a Dou Di since that is who created the Heavenly Tomb.[1] Later when Xiao Yan was fleeing from the destruction of the Yao Clan he came to the the Gu Realm and informed them that it was the Hun Clan who was destroying the ancient clans.[4][5]
He would join forces with the Yan and Lei clan to oppose the Hun Clan. During the final battle they were losing to the Hun Clan after Hun Tiandi stepped into the Dou Di class, but when Xiao Xiao Dou level all of sudden shot up to a seven star Dou Sheng he was relieved that Xiao Yan had also become a Dou Di and told him he would leave the rest to him. He watched the battle as Xiao Yan took the upper hand and sealed Hun Tiandi with all the Heavenly flames to end the calamity. He was present when Xiao Yan opened a tunnel to another dimension and his strength started to grow for the first time in years as there was Origin Qi in the tunnel. [6][7][8][9][10] In the final chapter he appears at Xiao Yan mansion as a Dou Di as they prepare to leave for another dimension. He had given the clan head title to Gu Qing Yang as he was ready to have some excitement after all the years as clan head.
